by Enzo Tacadao

Sunday drive with Rose. Cafe Katerina in Marcos Highway, Tanay, Rizal. Freezing winds. Crazy dogs. Mouth-gasmic foods.

From Katipunan to Tanay, travel time was around an hour and 15 minutes.

Cafe Katerina has a bunch of dogs, but this one takes the prize.

Little after 6:00 PM.

When we went to Tanay last month, we’ve seen trucks loaded with large windmill wings. Transportation of these gigantic things is still in full swing. #AlternativeEnergy

Guilty for gluttony. Fried chicken, mixed pancit bihon and canton, sizzling sisig, tofu, and hot bulalo soup. Food can get cold faster due to chilling winds.

Around 7:30 PM.

If you’re looking for a place to dine without having to deal with a batallion of crowds, go east to Cafe Katerina. You get Tagaytay’s cold weather and tasty food. No traffic. Tanay’s underrated, for sure.
